1. Funny Feelings Matching: This is a two page worksheet where your child will practice matching each Funny Food Feelings character with it's appropriate feelings word. The pictures of the Funny Food characters are just black outlines, so your kiddos can color them in once they are done with their matching. This worksheet includes the following ten feelings: Happy, Sad, Worried, Angry, Scared, Excited, Embarrassed, Guilty, Shy and Surprised.
2. Draw A Feeling: This worksheet invites your child to choose four feelings words (from the ten feelings listed on the worksheet), and then to draw how they look when they experience each of these feelings. The ten feelings words, along with their corresponding Funny Food character, are included on the outer borders of the worksheet for your child's reference. The pictures of the characters are just black outlines, so your child can color them in as they please. This worksheet includes the following ten feelings: Happy, Sad, Worried, Angry, Scared, Excited, Embarrassed, Loved, Shy and Surprised.
3. Sad Self-Care List: Use this worksheet to make a list of up to five things that your little one can do to help themselves feel happy when they are feeling sad. I recommend making this list with the help of the Jitter Gitters, which offer ten exercises that your child can do when they have an unpleasant feeling that gets too big.
4. Sad, Scared, or Worried Self-Care List: Similar to the Sad Self-Care List, you can use this worksheet to make a list of up to five things that your little one can do to help themselves feel happy, calm, or safe when they are feeling sad, sacred or worried. I recommend making this list with the help of the Jitter Gitters, which offer ten exercises that your child can do when they have an unpleasant feeling that gets too big.
